Marketing Class | Product Innovation Over the course of the semester, our class was broken up into groups that developed a kickstarter-like product informed by what we were learning in class. My group chose to focus on the alcohol industry, and instead of creating a physical product, we found that the best solution should take the form of an app. The Standard Pour offers its adult consumers a smart beverage app that learns user consumption patterns and preferences in order to create a superior drinking experience. From wine pairings, to planning nights out, to drink recipes, it is a tool that users can depend on to continually deliver personalized suggestions and information. As the only design major in my group, I helped lead user task flow discussions and was responsible for the visual design and development of the app. I then mocked up my designs in Adobe XD to demonstrate how various functions of the app would work.
